DS Action Diver: Restart of a winner

The 21st century places high demands on its timepieces. Today, high-quality wristwatches have to impress in three ways: in the disciplines of style, durability and precision. With its latest version of the popular DS Action Diver, the Swiss watch manufacturer Certina is now entering the race with a watch that demonstrates winning qualities in all areas. The 43 mm diameter diver's watch scores with a timelessly elegant design, water resistance up to 300 meters and a modern automatic caliber with an anti-magnetic hairspring.

Style: The New Black

The DS Action Diver in the 43 mm stainless steel case is one of the audience favorites in the Certina collection. The brand is now introducing an updated version that remains true to the character of the bestseller, but further refines individual elements. The unidirectional rotating bezel is now made of polished black ceramic, which is known for its scratch resistance. The color-coordinated dial is adorned with striking hands and indices, whose generous Super-LumiNova® coating offers excellent readability even in the dark. The watch is worn on a stainless steel strap with an integrated diving extension. Alternatively, there are six versions to choose from in blue, green, titanium or in a bicolor look.

Resilience: In their element on land and water

As a constant companion on all journeys, a contemporary watch should not only look good, but also have real off-road qualities. In this respect, no one can hold a candle to the DS Action Diver. With a screwed and protected crown and a screwed base, it is water-resistant to 300 meters. It easily meets the requirements of the ISO standard 6425 for diving watches. Its scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is part of the DS concept of double security, which has ensured maximum resistance at Certina since 1959.

Precision: A very special caliber

In the best Swiss tradition, the automatic Powermatic caliber of the DS Action Diver promises reliable precision. Its extremely efficient mechanical drive provides up to 80 hours of power reserve. The NivachronTM balance spring remains unaffected by the negative influence of the omnipresent magnetic fields. The heart of the watch beats tirelessly in a familiar rhythm: the pulse of time.
