The Zeppelin LZ 126, the first passenger airship to be used for long-haul flights, achieved a true masterpiece. The journey from Friedrichshafen to New York in 1924 only took 81 hours - an absolute speed record at the time. I had been considering this watch for several months with the intention of including it in a 3 or 4 watch rotation. As it turned out, I have been wearing it every day. It is a unique and beautiful timepiece that you must wear to appreciate.
Purchasing the watch from Steiner was a very good experience as well. The watch with the off-white dial was not in stock, but Anna contacted me immediately to offer an alternative.
